Student Success Spotlight! 🧁✨

One of our young bakers from Spring Bake Club just turned her passion into something bigger. 💕 A huge congratulations to Lillibean Bakery, who is making her debut at the local Eagle River Tuesday Market this week!
From earning her food worker card and business license to baking beautiful treats for her very first customers, she's worked incredibly hard to make this dream a reality and we are here for it! 🙌🙌

My spirit wants to keep making macarons but my body is saying stop 🛑 I've been living with an injury for quite some time and it's put a real damper on running my mircobakery; even my day-to-day activities are limited by chronic pain. 😞 After exhausting all conservative measures, it's time for a corrective operation. I will be stepping away from the kitchen and this page to focus on my health this summer.

I'm grateful to be part of this community as a vendor, teacher, neighbor and friend. I may not be working for a while, but I will still look forward to seeing your friendly faces around town! I will post updates and announcements to this page when it's time to return.

What a sweet success! 🎉 We just wrapped up our first season of Homeschool Bake Club, where students from Anchorage, Eagle River and the Valley learned recipes like macarons, stuffed bakery-style cookies, specialty cupcakes and more.👏🧁🍪 And they did fantastic! Each of them succeeded in unlocking new skills all while making sweet memories. 🎉

📢 As we head into summer, Mt. Magnificent Microbakery will be taking a seasonal pause, including Bake Club, Anchorage classes, custom orders, markets and retail supply. I’ll be stepping away to have a hip surgery that can no longer be put off. This summer will be dedicated to recovery, physical therapy and intentional time with my family. 🩼

While the kitchen (and this page) will be quiet for a bit, plans are already underway for the next season of Homeschool Bake Club this fall—think fresh recipes, new skills, and even more hands-on fun! ✨ Registration details will be shared in May or June, so be sure to stay connected if you have homeschool students interested in building their kitchen skills! 👨‍🍳👩‍🍳🧑‍🍳
