New season, new role! 👆(Peep my new kitchen classroom!)
Update: after taking the summer off to recover from a joint injury & surgery, I have decided to not reopen Mt. Magnificent Microbakery for orders or sales. There may be an occasional pop-up or fundraiser, but that is TBD. Life has a way of informing us when it's time for change, and it's become increasingly apparent over the last year that my stint as a production baker is at its end. It's time to do other things. ⌚
For me, one of those things is returning to the field of education and youth programming, where I spent many working years in a past life. So, I have merged my passion for baking + education into a homeschool baking course that is now open for registration in Eagle River! 🙌🧑🍳🥐 This is near and dear to my heart - it's a service I WISH had been available to me as a homeschool kid growing up in Eagle River...(back in the 1900's 😜).
We are now an ASD approved vendor and have partnered with Eagle River Homeschool to offer these in-person courses at their local school. Course descriptions and registration is available via their website (link in my bio and theirs).
I look forward to serving the community this year, albeit in a different way. Thank you all for your support along the way, whether it was a macaron purchase, a taste test, a custom order, a wholesale order, a Heart, Like or encouraging comment. I appreciate every one of you! 🫶
