Not bakery related, but we as a community have the chance to make a difference for this local 2 year old boy and his family who is struggling with the financial stress of upcoming treatments. Brantley was born with GVM (Glomuvenous Malformation). This is a rare vascular condition that causes painful, swelling, tenderness, blood clotting in the affected area. This has an affect on Brantley’s everyday life from walking, playing, wearing shoes, to sleeping.
If you find the time to make it to either of these events please do! Benefit yard-sale will be held September 26th, and Benefit Bingo November 1st.
Both events help little Brantley get to Italy for treatment. He is expected to need 4 separate trips and surgeries for his condition. He has vascular malformations deep into his muscles and joints that make it harder to treat and unfortunately the best treatment to help him is only available in Italy and expenses are out of pocket for his family.
