Here’s one for my guys! Honestly, sometimes it’s challenging to design a more masculine cake. However, this time of year the first thing I think about is hunting and wildlife for my outdoorsman! So I was kind of excited when someone said “just design a chocolate cake for my adult son…” and let me take it from there. I also don’t do a whole lot of rectangular cakes, especially with an upright orientation like this. I had lots of ideas on variations I could do for this style design in the future too!

Nothing feels more worth splurging on to me than a classic chocolate cake with lots of fun piping on it! This cake was for a very special 8️⃣9️⃣th birthday party. 🥳

One of these layers has white buttercream inside and the other has chocolate frosting inside. 🍫
