Behind every great bakery item is a carefully tested recipe…

And occasionally a baker who gets distracted by her kids for 17 seconds. 😂

Today’s distraction resulted in toasted marshmallow Rice Krispie treats, which inspired our new Campfire Crunch Rice Krispies topped with chocolate and graham cracker crumbs.

Was it planned? No.

Is it delicious? Yes! 🔥🍫🤪

Fresh Bread and Cookies will be out Saturday morning at 9am! You guys have begged me to make Jumbo Frosted Sugar Cookies again, so they are back this week too!

Hi, I’m Ashley — the face behind Fifth Street Pantry!

I’m a DeWitt wife, mom, and home baker who somehow turned a love of baking into a little business. Most days you’ll find me baking bread, frosting cookies, washing an endless pile of dishes, chasing kids, and dreaming up new treats for the pantry.

What started as sharing homemade goodies with family and friends has grown into something I never imagined.

Before Fifth Street Pantry, I spent 10 years in the interior design industry. After our family experienced the loss of our son, Ripp, in 2024, I decided to stay home with my children and focus on what mattered most. Somewhere between baking bread and making memories, Fifth Street Pantry was born.

My goal is simple: offer homemade treats that bring a little joy to your day, whether that’s a fresh loaf of bread for dinner, a jumbo cookie after a long day, or a sweet surprise just because.

Yesterday was one for the books. ❤️

We sold out, and around here, an empty pantry is one of the biggest compliments you can give a baker. But I think my favorite moment was hearing a customer say she came for an oatmeal cream pie instead of going to Crumbl. I may never recover from that compliment. 🥹
