My bestest buddies got engaged (back in May 😅), and I had the honor of making surprise cookies for our Katie. Huge shoutout to Redd for doing an incredible job keeping it all a secret.❤️
Their story is one of my favorites.
Katie and Redd met in Raleigh back in 2021 while she was travel nursing. Redd’s band, Revelry, based out of Nashville, was playing at the Tin Roof that night. Katie has a bee tattoo because her dad is a beekeeper, and when she saw Redd performing in a “Save the Bees” shirt, she knew she had to go talk to him after the show. The rest is history. 🥹
