I’m lucky to have two things in life that I’m very passionate about: My school and my baking. Sometimes, those two intersect, like when it was my classroom’s turn to make Friday breakfast this week.

Here we have chocolate cheesecake flavor, as well as cake batter and gluten-free vanilla, with various toppings.

There are many things to be said for the beauty of simplicity. Something about, say, your classic snickerdoodle and the subtle way that those two foundational flavors work so well together.

HOWEVER, there is just as much to be said about the opposite. Sometimes, simplicity should be shelved. Such is the case with these caramel pretzel M&M cookies, which have been a favorite of mine (and others) for several years. The name itself is a mouthful, what’s not to love?

Chaotic? Yes.
One-of-a-kind? Also yes.

In the background you may also notice some very sensible chocolate chip cookies. Just so y’all know that I haven’t completely lost my marbles.

💐 April showers bring May flowers! 💐

Or…. Treats that resemble flowers, at least.

Good morning, everyone. It’s been a little while, hasn’t it? While I am very lucky to say that I love my non-baking career, I must also be candid and admit that it has occupied most of my free time and energy. Nobody ever said that teaching would be easy, so I digress. 🤷🏻‍♂️

✨ HOWEVER ✨, as I transition towards a less busy time of year, I’ve set an intention to update this page more. It’s not that I haven’t been baking. Belieeeeve you me, I’ve been baking. In fact, I’m very excited to share with you the cupcake recipes I’ve tried this season. So, back to the good stuff.

Here are some lemon poppyseed cupcakes and GF lemon cookies with either blueberry or cheesecake buttercream. I made these about two weeks ago by now. This blueberry buttercream was absolutely GORGEOUS in person, y’all, and delicious to boot. 💙🥰

I invite you to try out my Desserts and Beverages Bundles. Both the Desserts (Neapolitan/Blueberries + Cream) and Beverages (Mimosa + Strawberry Lemonade) Bundle contain 2 dozen cookies for $22. I've put these four flavors together in particular because they are, in my opinion, the MUST-TRY flavors of my spring season.

I am also offering each flavor listed below a la carte for $14 per dozen, or 2 dozen (choice of flavor) for a discounted price of $24.

I will always relish the opportunity to return to my roots. In the beginning, there was only chocolate chip. This same recipe has been recreated, tweaked, tailored, or faithfully reproduced more times for more people than I’d ever like to be tasked with counting.

There’s just something about the classics. Ya can’t quit em.

Of course, this time around, I also had to make a dependable variant (mint chocolate), and try a new experimental recipe while I was at it (maple pancake cookies, y’all stay tuned).

Tonight was a night I gave to nostalgia. Here’s to one decade down, and to several more to come, friends.

💜💛🧡 The warmth has returned, friends, and so have I! I wish to ring in a well-earned spring with flavors that call to mind some of your favorite ways to stay cool. Meet my initial offerings for the seasons of sun. In clockwise order beginning at the top, we have:

- Strawberry Lemonade

- Champagne (best enjoyed while celebrating)
