I have been trying since 1 pm to make an online order for tomorrow. Is the website glitching?
Not meaning to complain, but updating the hours on THIS page would be nice and would have kept me from driving over.
Wylde Center's Beer Garden & Silent Auction is one of our largest fundraisers and was originally scheduled for June 20 at Oakhurst Garden. Due to the circumstances surrounding COVID19, we have decided to reschedule the annual fundraising event. Mark your calendars for Saturday, November 7! More information will be coming your way in the coming months. . Our annual Beer Garden & Silent Auction event relies heavily on the support and generosity of several local restaurants and breweries. Featured in this post are the restaurants and breweries who had already committed to supporting us this June and are hoping to join us again on November 7. Many are offering delivery and/or curbside pick-up services and would appreciate your support. After all, delicious local food and refreshing local brews can only make quarantine better! . Breweries: Twain's Brewpub & Billiards, Orpheus Brewing, Sceptre Brewing Arts, Terrapin Beer Co., Best End Brewing Co., Wild Heaven Beer, Three Taverns Brewery . Restaurants: Farm Burger Decatur, Kimball House, Revival, Butter and Cream, Revolution Doughnuts . Last, but certainly not least, thank you to the business sponsors for their support in 2020: Stability Engineering, Classic Tents & Events, Russell & Herrera Attorneys at Law, Studio 184, Watt-Man LED Lighting, and Chip Wallace Real Estate . We encourage everyone to support businesses who support non-profits, especially during these uncertain times! We hope to see you at our Beer Garden & Silent Auction event in November. In the meantime, keep practicing social distancing and please consider supporting these establishments during this uncertain period. . Stay safe, everyone, and cheers! 🍻 . #wyldecenter #gowylde #beergarden #flattenthecurve
If you’ve been following us for the past few weeks, you probably now have seen the man in this photo quite a few times. So let’s take a second to tell his story, to tell you about a man named Reggie.⁣ ⁣ Reggie has worked as an actor, a voiceover artist, a creative, a performer. He’s worked at Homegrown Restaurant Atlanta, Ga, at Revolution Doughnuts, and even owned some restaurants himself (Yin Yang Cafe and Club Kaya in the 90s). He even lived in Europe, for a time, but always found himself returning back to Atlanta and working in the restaurant industry.⁣ ⁣ One day, Reggie was diagnosed with Multiple Myeloma, a type of cancer that accumulates in the bone marrow and infects the blood. It’s a rare disease, with mysterious symptoms, and an often fatal diagnosis.⁣ ⁣ Things were bleak, but his friends in the restaurant industry held a fundraiser for him. And Giving Kitchen paid for some of his bills, to bridge that gap, to let him focus on his health and recovery.⁣ ⁣ Eventually, Reggie received a stem cell transplant. And while his recovery wasn’t easy, it was thanks to the restaurant community and Giving Kitchen that he could focus on getting better. ⁣ ⁣ Giving Kitchen has been there for Georgia food service industry workers since its inception and that’s why we’re fundraising for them. That’s why we’re asking you to give, anything you can, today. ❤ Photo Credit: andrew thomas lee photography Story Originally By: Wyatt Williams
