Goodmorning! I have a couple of things I am wanting to throw out there!

One being that the farm stand will be open tomorrow and Friday! (Maybe Saturday as well) Please look out for the regular farm stand menu!

The second being I am opening preorders for Thanksgiving festivities from now until 6:00 pm on Wednesday November 11th! So please keep that in mind! I will post a preorder menu shortly! I won’t be available to bake on Thanksgiving day or the Friday after!

Lastly I need to instill a new policy on preorders: when orders are placed I will need to collect payment upfront via cash app, Venmo or cash! Please keep in mind that I am the only one doing the baking so preorders may close earlier than the listed date if they get full! I want to make sure I’m providing quality baked goods and not rushing!

Thank you so much for being such a wonderful community! You guys have no idea how blessed I feel to be able to do something that I love and to have so many of you guys rooting for me !

A couple years go , we made Jim ! Jim was an amazing scarecrow that stood ground at the entry way of our farm . I really want to do a scare contest ! Who would want to build a scarecrow as part of a contest?

I thought I would start off with y’all’s favorite, cookie butter truffles ! I’m so excited since I haven’t made these since the beginning of summer and they taste like fall to me !

Can’t wait to open this afternoon !

My toxic trait as a home baker is that I often times think I can wait last minute to try something new and then everything goes wrong in the process of trying said new thing.

We have a birthday we are celebrating in our family and her request was strawberry cake and strawberry icing. We also have a church cake walk so I figured why not just bake two strawberry cakes?

Y’all know everything I do in the stand is dye free because we are dye free. So how else would I make strawberry cake other than using real strawberries?

1/10 do not recommend waiting last second to make strawberry cream cheese icing on a whim for the first time ever 😭 😂

Also strawberry roses? Let’s just say the kids got full on strawberries before supper 💁🏻‍♀️🤦🏻‍♀️which is why only one cake has strawberry roses .

And lastly I’m very limited on my cake decorating tips . I’ve never really decorated a cake

Puffball mushrooms!

These are edible ! But true puffballs are solid white inside. If you cut them open and they are not solid white like a marshmellow , or look discolored , it means it’s sporing out and it could upset your tummy! As you can see this one has a little yellow to the inside which means we won’t be eating it! Also if it looks like it has a mushroom on the inside when halved, it’s not a puff ball!

You can make “chicken “ Parmesan, French toast etc etc! Look it up!

Please always be sure you do your research before consuming any wild food!

It’s been quite some time since I posted a wild mushroom.

Shaggy stalked boletes : not medicinal but said to have a sour lemon like taste. (I have never eaten these, though I have found many but I think I will today!) the stalks are used in stir fries and soup stocks etc!
