‼️And now, for the moment you've all been waiting for... maybe not really. I should say, the moment I HAVE been waiting for... but first.

👋 Hi, I'm Claire if I haven't had the pleasure of meeting you face to face. I'm an old soul (hence the Store name) and have always had a passion for the old way of doing things. I started baking under the cottage food law about 10 years ago. This all started on a trip to Nova Scotia in 2016 when I walked into a small bakery in Cape Britain where I felt this undeniable feeling that THIS is what I was supposed to be doing.

That's when the dream was born for Ol' Timers Country Store. Of course I couldn't quit my 8-5 just yet. So it started out as a side business until it got to where my husband and I agreed I could make this my full time business at the end of 2020.

Thankfully, under cottage food I can take my business anywhere since I get to work from home. The down side is that there are limitations to what I can offer. So again, I felt God nudging me in my purpose to build a place where people can gather and slow down like the old days.

When we moved to Daviston 2 years ago, I knew this was it. My old soul felt like it was home. (Not like I was born in the wrong place and time any more).Then came the farm stand that y'all have supported way beyond my wildest dreams. I cannot tell you all how grateful I am for that!

WE HAVE STARTED CONSTRUCTION on Ol' Timers Country Store 🥰 designed like a 1950s general store (with some modern conveniences 😊)

I cannot wait to have this up and running to get to see each and every one of you when you stop by instead of missing you at the farm stand. Hope you all have a blessed week ❤️

Farm stand is set back up this morning (9/20). I'll have it open all day unless it gets too hot for the cinnamon roll icing.

Cinnamon rolls (4 pans, 1 single)
Smoked cheddar cheese straws (1 bag)
Sourdough sandwich bread (4 loaves)
White sandwich bread (1 loaf)
Mini pumpkin bread (3 loaves)
Blueberry muffins (2 packs)
Jams, jellies, pepper jellies, apple butter, candied jalapenos

Picked up the farm stand for today. Thank y'all so much for coming out this morning!!
I'll probably set up again in the morning since there was a good bit left over. Then, the farmstand will be closed the next 2 weekends. I'll still be taking orders if you need anything though 😊
