Since it originally opened in April of 1947, The Davison Home Bakery has been a hometown favorite. 70 years later, we are still doing it the original way with original recipes from the original family who opened the bakery, Fred Fortner and family. More history to come as we interact with Mac and see what we can dig up.

This is our Butter Yummy! How do we make it, you ask? We roll out the dough, spread butter on it, fold it over itself, roll it out again, cut it into rectangles and form bow ties, proof it, fry it, glaze it and then they are ready for you. Is there a better donut out there?

Our Gluten-free products are: Buckeye Bars, Hello Dollies, No-Bake Cookies, Monster Cookies and Peanut Butter Cookies. These are all kept in the pop cooler and wrapped separately. These Hello Dollies and No-Bake Cookies are made with GF Oats.
