We help families celebrate the joys of life with desserts that are specially created for their event. I have always enjoyed being in the kitchen and creating cookies and cakes. I had a small cake decorating business when my children were little. After life happened and several years later, I decided to get back into the kitchen and decorate cookies. Today is National Picking Strawberries Day. But we'll have to wait a month. Strawberries aren't ready until mid-June in Michigan.
But we'll take this as an opportunity to give you a sneak preview of our "June means strawberries" menu. Watch for our strawberry cookies, muffins, bread, and cake.

Does size matter???
We see a sleeve of 3 or 4 cookies for many of the holidays. Mini cookies. they are 2" to 2 1/2" and are one or two bites. Compare that to regular size cookies that are 3" to 3 1/2" or more - 4 or more bites.
Both have their advantages and disadvantages.
Without says, the mini's are great for a large crowd where they are used as favors. But, if not eaten in a short period of time, they will go stale faster than the regular size cookies.
Even though there is a better cookie to icing ratio on regular size cookies, many people find them too heavy or sweet for their taste.
Which size do you prefer - or does it depend on the situation?
