We help families celebrate the joys of life with desserts that are specially created for their event. I have always enjoyed being in the kitchen and creating cookies and cakes. I had a small cake decorating business when my children were little. After life happened and several years later, I decided to get back into the kitchen and decorate cookies. Today is National Stephen Day! The name means crown or wreath - like the laurel wreaths given to the winners in ancient Greece. There is a special person in my life names Stephen - I'll talk about him on another day, but, because today is Stephen Day - we will give a free cookie to anyone named Stephen who comes into Maria's Market tomorrow - Friday August 5th (after 4:00 pm) . If you spell it with a "v" or an "f" instead of "ph" that's okay. It's even okay if your name is Stephanie!

We are gearing up for the holiday weekend. Whether you prefer to stay home or go out in nature, snacks (think cookies) are always on the "take" list. This week we are offering a very healthy, take this on a hike, Trail Mix cookie. A peanut butter cookie base loaded with salted peanuts, cranberries, chocolate chips, and apple chunks.
It wouldn't be a camp out without our favorite S'Mores cookie. We sold out of this cookie a few weeks back, so be sure to pick yours up this FRIDAY at Maria's Market in downtown Davisburg. We'll be there from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm. Stop in and get your weekend goodies.

Anyone planning a watch party next weekend for Practical Magic 2? I was thinking about making up some lavender flavored sugar cookies or maybe 🍹 "Midnight Margarita" Lime Cookies. Could also make some crescent moons or white candles.
