My new recipe book is ready in the Amazon store for you guys to enjoy

When I create it, I thought of the passion that I share for baking and the recipes that take me back in time.

It is a personal space for you to share a bit of your history, generations, and your favorite recipes.

I hope you enjoy and like it the same way I do.

Today's destination

Puerto Rico 🇵🇷

For breakfast, we had a yummy and traditional sandwich with butter, ham and cheese (with warm and soft bread from the bakery), and because I don't drink coffee, we had hot chocolate (also a puertorican brand, Cortes)

For lunch, I made some rice with onions (arroz con cebolla), beans with pumpkin (habichuelas guisadas con calabaza), and chicken steak

Lastly, we had dessert. These are quesitos. Except I filled them with different things. I had some with cream cheese inside, chocolate and chocolate, and strawberries. It was a really easy dessert to make and super airy. Definitely, I'll make them again.

Today, we started a tour around the world in my house. Because my son is home during summer, and im trying to find a fun way for him to learn from other cultures, here is how I did it

I let him pick his 1st destination, and he chose

France 🇫🇷

For lunch, we had Meunière, a white fish with a bit of salt and lightly breaded with flour. Then you squize a lemon on top, add butter and parsley, and taste really good. It was a really light plate, I made my with a side of potatotes.

Then we had some dessert. He preferred a dessert she'll with homemade whipped cream in the bottom and gelato on top with fresh strawberries. I chose the classic crepes with nutella inside, bananas, and strawberries

Lastly, we had breakfast for dinner. I made créme brûlée French toast.

Funnel cake Saturday!

1st time making them and they passed....

Adding the extra powder sugar that looks like fresh snow and dipping it in the nutella with the strawberries a side... the taste is really good.

[Remember the actual dough for the funnel cake is not really sweet]
