Wow!!! 🤩 There has been a HUGE influx of new followers! I wanted to introduce myself and my business. First, welcome—you are so appreciated here! Second, thank you. Your follow or purchase helps this small-town baker keep living her dream 🫶
🥖 My name is Jenn and every item is prepared and baked by me. I am allergen and food safe certified. My supportive husband built my home bakery kitchen downstairs where all the magic happens (he also built The Bread B❤️x)…yay hubby! 🫶 My kitchen is inspected and certified by both the Town and State. I am approved for wholesale, so you can find my products delivered every Friday at Lees Market in Westport and King Farm in Dartmouth.
🥖 I began this sourdough journey because of my own health. I could not eat store-bought bread, pasta, or mass-produced carbs. However, I can eat "true" sourdough. Long-fermented items are the absolute best for digestion issues.
🥖 My kitchen is NOT gluten-free. Certification requires a completely separate kitchen, equipment, and ingredients. However, if you are gluten-sensitive, long-fermented items MAY work for you like they do for me. Fermentation breaks down the grains and gluten during proofing, making it much easier to digest.
🥖 I use organic and clean ingredients whenever possible. I love sweets 😋 but since I can't tolerate much, I keep them as "clean" as I can.
🥖 My pricing is based on ingredients, packaging, utilities, and labor. What may seem high to some is truly just what it costs to keep going—trust me, I’m not getting rich on bread 🙅🏻♀️ have you looked at organic nuts lately? Or seeds? Or anything??? 😕
🥖 The Bread B❤️x is stocked every other weekend (keep 👀 here for updates). It operates as a self-serve farmstand via Venmo or a locked cash box.
🥖 I drop preorder menus once a month so you can pay ahead and quickly grab your bag on pickup day (link on homepage). I also take special orders for dinner parties, brunches, and meetings—just message me for info!
Thanks again for being here!!! 🫶
