Y’all are making my heart so happy with the excitement over this little Sweet Anna’s Bakery pop-up! 🧁

For a limited time, I’m bringing cupcakes back to help support two special trips coming up — the Flint Groves Student Ministry Spring Break trip to Myrtle Beach and Bradley’s 8th grade class trip to Wilmington that I’ll be chaperoning.

💛 A New Season for Sweet Anna’s 💛

After much prayer and reflection, I’ve made the decision to step away from taking any cake orders. I will still fulfill my current commitments, but I won’t be adding anything new to my calendar for now.

When I began this journey 16 years ago, I never could have imagined how many incredible people, celebrations, and memories it would bring into my life. Sweet Anna’s has been one of my greatest blessings — not just because of the cakes, but because of you. Every wedding, birthday, and “just because” moment has meant so much to me and allowed me to fulfill a dream of being a stay at home mom.

Years ago, I asked the Lord to open the door for full-time ministry after I fell in love with serving with our Hangar Students. I said I would be willing to give up cakes even, if that was His will. He answered that prayer, and now I’m serving in a role that I love at my church for the past 10 months. But in preparing a recent lesson from Numbers 20:1–13, God reminded me that partial obedience is still disobedience. I realized I was still holding on — not only because I love being part of such special celebrations, but also because it helped fill a financial need that I wasn't trusting God to meet. Time and time again, God has proven Himself faithful to provide.

There might still be an occasional pop-up or treat made “just because” for those I love — but for now, I’m choosing to pause. My heart is being drawn more deeply into ministry, and I want to give my full focus to growing and learning where God is leading me.

To everyone who has ever trusted me to be a part of your milestones — thank you. For your love, support, and encouragement over the years — thank you. You’ve given me more joy and more memories than I could ever put into words.

📣 Life update!

At the beginning of this year, I returned to full-time work at my church and truly thought I could juggle it all — but I’ve realized I need to cut back even more than I originally planned. 💼🎂

Because of that, I’ll be limiting my cake orders moving forward and will no longer be taking on new clients. However, I’ll continue making cakes based on availability for my loyal and faithful regulars — many of you who have trusted me with your celebrations for years. I’m so grateful for your continued support!

🎓💙 Just a quick note to say thank you to everyone for your patience and understanding!

This season of life has been incredibly full (in the best way!) as we celebrate my son’s high school graduation — such a special milestone! 🥹🎉

My Sweet Anna turns 20 today—how did that happen so fast? I’ve had the joy of making 17 of her birthday cakes over the years, and each one has been as special as she is. I’m so proud of the young woman she’s become and so thankful she’s mine!

I am so sorry for the delay! I have been away this weekend with our youth at the Crossroads Winter Conference. I was planning on catching up tonight, however my husband got sent home from work tonight due to the weather. I haven't seen him since Thursday so I am closing my laptop to snuggle up in front of the fire place!
