This week we left it up to Bellevue customers to request what they’d like to see this Saturday June 6th! Blueberry lemon scones, oatmeal cream pies, red eye pie, turnip pie, this menu is thriving! Now you’re probably thinking to yourself, turnip pie? What on earth? Well, last year around this time we made turnip pie for Long Walk Farm’s Battle of the Chefs. This dessert was then featured on social media, shared with friends and even got it’s own place in the Practical Farming magazine I love so much. If you’re adventurous, or even if you aren’t, this dessert is a must try, because it’s our own recipe, different than anything you’ve ever tried and honestly, it’s just really delicious.

This season runs Saturday, May 30th through September 19th from 8:30 AM–12:30 PM at Washington Park in Bellevue (note the time change). I’ve been working incredibly hard in the off-season to come back with a variety packed menu. Everything from breakfast to dessert, ranging from $4–$35. You’ll notice some new items! A rotating seasonal breakfast item will be available every week, a delicious gluten friendly option and a sweet or savory seasonal galette will be featured as well. (If you haven’t had one of these yet, I truly hope you’ll fall in love with them like I have!)

Cheesecakes, pies, quiches, cookies, brownies, and more will also be available! Pre-ordering is available through direct message, comment, or email through Friday evening. Some items will be very limited, so we highly recommend coming early!

We will continue giving back to our local community, we’re running a food drive each weekend of the market for the Bellevue NE Food Pantry! Each item brought for the pantry gets you $1 off your total order (up to $5—but please bring as many dry goods as you want/can). This is a small but meaningful way we can make a continue making a difference right here in Bellevue for the families who need it most! We absolutely cannot wait to see all of you and rock out this 2026 market season!

Today was my first mostly full day off, actually at home from the bakery in over three months.

And honestly? It reminded me of something I think a lot of small business owners forget to talk about, rest IS productive.

We’re so used to celebrating the early mornings, the big events, the long weeks, and the constant hustle. We often wear exhaustion well because that’s what building something from the ground up looks like.

But what doesn’t get talked about enough is how important it is to step away.

Not because you’re giving up by any means, but because your mind, body, creativity, and leadership all need space to recover. They discussed this time after time in the Goldman Sachs program and they were right.

Today I wasn’t answering a hundred questions, baking, or putting out fires. I was home. I rested. I slowed down.

I feel recharged, my mind clearer and honestly, I feel even more ready for the thick of farmers market season.

If you’re a fellow small business owner, consider this your reminder that taking a day off isn’t a weakness, it’s apart of our job too.

Your business needs your hard work. But it also needs the best version of you.

And sometimes the most productive thing you can do is rest. ❤️

HERE IT IS!!! Our first Bellevue, Nebraska Farmers' Market menu of the season! (Ahhhhh!!!!)

This season runs Saturday, May 30th through September 19th from 8:30 AM–12:30 PM at Washington Park in Bellevue (note the time change).

I think when you love what you do, it shows.

It shows in your food of course but it also shows up in other ways. How you interact with your customers, how you treat your staff, what kind of support you receive from family and friends. It also shows in the ways people give you grace when you need some flexibility and grace.

I am blessed, constantly. By the people in my life, by the opportunities I’m given but also blessed by the fact that for two years now I have gotten to pursue Breeze full time.

Yes, that’s right, it’s our 2 year Breezeaversary. We started it off by a brunch for dinner pop up at followed by a sell out market in downtown Omaha this morning, finishing off with *hopefully* another sellout at Aksarben tomorrow. This is absolutely something worth celebrating. Many businesses don’t make it two years. Many businesses aren’t given the opportunities we have been. Many businesses don’t get the opportunity to do what we have done.

Thank you to ALL OF YOU. Not everyday is easy, but every day is worth it. Not everyday yields a paycheck but I have a roof over my head, food on the table and a wonderful life.

Happy 2 year anniversary to us, I freaking love what I do and thank you for letting me continue to do it for all of you.

Mark your calendars *literally*

We know being at Omaha Farmers Market about 50% of the time is a little confusing. When will she be there? What do I look for? How will I know?

Well, hopefully, this provides some clarity! When we are downtown, we will always be in spot #79 in the little parking lot near Dundee popcorn. Then, when we are at Aksarben we will be at booth #87 next to our friends at trek bicycle on the west side of the market. Lastly, we *think* we will be near the north west side gazebo again at the Bellevue, Nebraska Farmers' Market, I will absolutely confirm that when I know for sure!

When in doubt, look for the pink tent with the wood displays and delicious baked goods.

Well hello hundreds of new people! I’ve never been the subject of a viral or even sudo viral post before now so I figured it was high time I reintroduced myself, the business and let you all know what makes Breeze so special!

So, first of all, hi everyone and happy Wednesday! My name is Brie (yes, like the cheese) and I own Breeze Bakery, currently located in the absolutely beautiful run by

I started as a savory chef for over 15 years before turning my attention over to the baking side of the industry! I am an avid weightlifter, experience seeker, horticulturalist and dog agility lover with my two corgis. I’ve been married to my best friend and adventure companion Erik for over two years with a lifetime to go

Breeze “opened” in 2020 to family and friends to fulfill the ever present need for more availability of desserts for the holidays since so many places were closed, had limited pick ups and if I’m being honest, I had just started my life over and had an outlandish amount of free time on my hands.

The idea of “Breeze” formed when I was 18, fresh in culinary school. While the idea of it was a little different then, I’ve always knew I wanted to do this, I just never knew exactly what it would look like.

Well, what does it look it? Almost 2 years in full time business, procuring from over 100 local farmers and producers, bringing you the most fun assortment we can with new hyper seasonal menus coming your way every Tuesday for the week ahead.

Our first double market of the season is upon us! Which means we will be at BOTH the Downtown Omaha Farmers Market Saturday 8am-12:30pm AND the Aksarben Farmers Market Sunday from 9am-1pm!

Pre-ordering: is welcome and highly encouraged! We have a tendency to sell out most weeks of the season and definitely recommend pre-ordering your favorites to make sure they are set aside for you no matter what time you plan on showing up Saturday or Sunday!

How do you do that? Simply send us a direct message or comment on our post before 6pm Friday evening and I will make sure everything is all squared away.

But Brie, which market will you personally be at? SURPRISE, Reagan and I will be at both markets this weekend. We have had hundreds of new faces join us the last couple of days and I definitely want to be around to say hello!
