Howdy Farm Fam! Long time, no see! As we gather together and plan our summer gardens, we always think of our friends who continually support our little business. We’re looking forward to coming back this year better than ever. We miss ya! We’re praying for ya! Pray for me too, because Merle Haggard Walden is stinkier than a dumpster full of diapers, and he wants to give kisses. 🤮😂

In true June 🐐 fashion, my girl waited to drop these kids on the sloppiest, nastiest day possible. I was aggravated. But as soon as Riv saw them, he took a knee, bowed his head and said, “Thank you, Lord for this blessing!”

That being said, we would like to formally introduce you to Blessing and Christmas— two perfect little girls! And yes, they will be looking for new farms soon!

It looks like winter has made its grand appearance a bit early. I hate to jump the gun, but Merry Christmas, everyone! I figured this would be the perfect time to let you know that our piggies will be looking for new homes and farms right around Christmas Day 😉.

(This would also be the time to tell you that kunekune pigs are not teacup/mini pigs. While they do have a wonderful temperament, I would 10/10 not recommend trying to house raise one 😂.Yes, they do grow. A lot. Like a bowling ball on peg legs. Mama Peppa is right around 200 lbs. Daddy George is a whopping 400 lbs.)

Many of her fans have asked. “How’s Peppa? Has she had the babies yet?” It is with great honor that we announce the arrival of our eight newest farm family members. Regrettably, Peppa decided to carry her babies until after we closed for the season. But we will be sure to keep you all updated on their cuteness 🥹. Her faithful companion, River, will be watching over her. We are all—quite literally— in HOG HEAVEN.

Our mission has always been to inspire young minds. Today, Farmer Jess went out to WFES to talk with 3rd grade about nutritious soil, and how to test PH levels. We learned that the PH of the raised beds might need some adjusting to be at that perfect “6🤷‍♀️7” range!

We have had the opportunity to visit with several of our local schools this year. Thank you for allowing us these opportunities!

As we close up shop for the season, I couldn’t help but run my hands over the “Grow With Us” posts and pray for each and every child whose name is etched into the wood there…So many customers who have become more like family. How we love to watch them grow. I am so incredibly grateful for each and every person who has come out to support us this year. From the the bottom of our hearts, Thank You.

As always, we love you. We are praying for you. We’ll see you next year at the patch. 🖤🎃
