Confessions of a home baker....I HATE POSTING ON SOCIAL MEDIA! I'd rather just bake...
That being said, last September my pastor invited us into a social media fast and, truthfully, I've not desired to come back.
If you didn't know, fall is the onset of MARKET MANIA and it seemed foolish to step away from posting event invitations during the busy season. However, the Word of God says He uses the foolish things to confound the wise.
Obedience was truly greater than sacrifice and God rewarded me for seeking Him diligently by supernaturally increasing my business!
I'm learning to trust the Lord in every aspect of my life - even as a small business owner. To ask permission rather than assuming He will bless every venture. To seek His insight before stepping out and then hoping my business will prosper.
Psalm 127 says this: 'Unless the Lord builds the house, those who build it labor in vain.'
Moving forward, I will not be trusting in algorithms to propel me forward. Instead, my hope will be in the Lord, the maker of heaven and earth.
Please know I am still available for special orders and, as of now, first Saturdays will be at Grand Central Artisan Market from 9a-1p and all other Saturdays we'll be in Old Town Spring across from the museum.
I'm looking forward to seeing each of your smiling faces this spring and can't wait to share new flavor profiles and all the homemade goodness you can handle!
With love,
- Elizabeth Harper
