My company is known as Donard's Delights. My inspiration for the name was the greatest man I have ever met: my grandfather whom we call, Pappaw. Pappaw's hobby was family and his legacy lives on in the large family he left behind. We all want the best for our family and quality products to fuel our families is important. I also believe that food is an important tradition in bringing families toget
her to celebrate each other and other various holidays. That being said, not everyone can spend the time in the kitchen preparing quality, homemade goodness or their focus is on the vegetables and meat and shortcuts wind up with the bread or desserts. My bakery focuses on breads and cookies but I also have some other items such as pies and crisps that are available as well. There is nothing like my Simply Irresistible Cream Biscuits for a family brunch or Whole Wheat Dinner Rolls to go with your turkey, chicken, or ham! Or maybe you just need some Sourdough bread (especially friendly to those with gout), Amish White, or Honey Wheat bread for sandwiches and you can't particularly stomach the store bought breads that are full of so many preservatives they last for a month (or more)! I now offer jams to go with my breads, named after my nieces and nephews, because family is what it’s about! Awesome Aydee (apricot and pineapple), Cherrylicious Charlie (cherry vanilla), Happy Heidi (apricot and peach), Marvelous Maddie (strawberry and pineapple), and Super ‘Saiah (banana and pineapple). I also now offer sourdough cinnamon rolls by the tray (6 in each for $15) and sourdough bagels with everything seasoning (6 for $10). Gluten free offerings include:
Sourdough bread $15/loaf
Pumpkin Spice Muffins $13/half dozen
Chocolate Chip Cookies $15/dozen
Cinnamon Twist Streusel bread $10/tray
Please don't hesitate to contact me if I can help you with any of your family celebration necessities.
