We are both small business owners with so many overlapping parts. We travel so well together. We are sense of humor compatible. We vocalize stim to basically everything. And we can just be ourselves together. Our weirdness matches. I mean what more can you want?!

And that’s the absolute TRUTH. I don’t know what I’m doing. But I’ll just keep doing whatever and hope it works out. Life is short and most things don’t matter as much as we think. So I’m just living the best that I know how to :)

Earlier this year, my freezer decided to quit on me, and because I had no idea how long everything had been sitting at an unsafe temperature, I had to throw it ALL away. 🫠 Hundreds of dollars of mini cakes, ingredients, time and inventory straight into the trash.

This happened months ago, but I wanted to share it because social media makes it really easy to only show the wins—the big orders, fun projects, sold-out classes, exciting opportunities. We don’t always show the days where something completely out of our control goes wrong and we just have to eat the loss (or in this case, absolutely DO NOT eat it 😂).

Owning a small business isn’t always sunshine and rainbows. Sometimes life hands you potatoes. Sometimes it hands you s**t salad.

You take the loss, learn what you can, and keep moving forward. ❤️

Anyway… RIP to all my little cakes. You deserved better lol
