When I first started doing cookies I never imagined I would have a request for people’s pets on the cookies, especially not 3 different times! These were requested for a couple’s wedding reception and were a true labor of love. These requests always give me a bit of anxiety, but I don’t like to back down from a challenge. All in all, I was pleased with the outcome and so was the happy couple and their guests! That’s a win in my book. 😊 I also did some simple hearts with the couple’s names.

I’ve never been more grateful for the opportunity to make a specific set of cookies than I was for this set. These were made for an amazing human being who received a double lung transplant. She exceeded everyone’s expectations and was only in the hospital for 7 days! This person isn’t just anyone, she’s my aunt and when she was diagnosed with the same lung disease that my dad passed away from, we were devastated. She’s one of the strongest and most positive people I know and I am confident she will continue to exceed expectations as she continues her recovery. I also can’t forget to mention how incredibly grateful I am for the gift of organ donation and the individuals who made a choice to save lives even though theirs or their loved ones couldn’t be saved.

I was so honored when my cousin reached out to me about doing cookies for her daughter’s baby shower. I already had the perfect cookie cutters and was so excited to finally use them! I could finally breathe a sigh of relief when I heard they arrived safely after being shipped across the country! 😅 The best part was when she said now she had a little piece of her Ohio family at the shower 🥰

My New Year’s resolution is to take more and post more pictures of my work. Last year I allowed myself to get into my own head too much and either thought the cookies didn’t look good enough to photograph or that the photos themselves weren’t good. I know I’m my own worst critic and while there is always room for improvement, photos are a great way to be able to look back and see how far I’ve come. This set was one I did just for fun after I finished my Christmas orders. I managed to over saturate a couple of the colors and completely ran out of the good tipless bags I use so I had to resort to to what I had on hand. Overall, I’m pleased with the way these turned out. Cheers to 2024!🍾🎉

I always love getting orders for baby showers, and even better when it’s someone I personally know. How cute is this theme for a boy? I met this soon to be boy mom 5 years ago when I started working at my current office job and she was on my team. At that time she was 10 months pregnant with her daughter and soon she and her husband will bring home baby boy! Also, as a side note, I’ve officially reached that time of year where I’m so busy with my day job, multiple dance classes each week gearing up for a regional competition at the end of November, and still doing cookies that my posts really slow down. I’m still here 🙋🏻‍♀️

Lachlan was so excited that there was a cookie with him and Uncle Rick on it. He carried that cookie around for awhile, but would not eat it. (He picked another cookie to eat 😜)

This past weekend we celebrated my Uncle’s 70th birthday, hosted by our cousin who was also celebrating a birthday of her own. I may have gone a little overboard with the number of edible images I ordered from , but the images were fantastic! My platter was clearly too small and bowl-shaped to put all the cookies on so we opted for a large cookie sheet for safer transport to the party. I also made some purple birthday cookies for our cousin. (I also spotted the mistake as soon as I looked at the photo 😜🙃
