These might look like the start to an ordinary cake... but these happen to be egg free!

I typically tell people that I don't do cakes. Will they taste good? Absolutely. Will they be aesthetically pleasing? Possibly? Cakes aren't something I enjoy doing and they stress me out, but occasionally someone will talk me into doing one. In this instance, its an egg free smash cake for a little guy with an egg allergy.

If I can safely accomodate an allergy, I will do it... even if it means stepping out of my comfort zone.

Plus let's face it, this cake is destined to be destroyed!

Thank you to everyone who supported us this month! It is officially the most successful month in the history of the bakery!

While orders are closed for May, we are taking orders for June and beyond! We already have a handful of orders through late June and July, so if you would like some sweet treats for a specific day, get those orders in sooner rather than later!

We are planning on going to the Dupo Market on Saturday June 13th.

Market prep is in full swing tonight, but I had to bake one of these bad boys off for... you know, quality assurance.

These chocolate chip scones have the perfect mix of buttery, flakey layers and slightly sweet. I personally think they would be best enjoy with a nice cup of coffee.

They are so good, Im whipping up a second batch for Saturday! They do best with a little chilling time (helps create the flakey layers), so they will be spending the night in the fridge before getting brushed with a little heavy cream and baked off tomorrow night.

I think this might be a first in our bakery's history... but we are officially booked up for the rest of the month! So if you do not already have an order in for May, the only way you can enjoy our baked goods is to come see us this Saturday at the Dupo Farmer's Market!

We are so grateful to everyone who has helped make this one of our most successful months. As a small business, it means the world to us that people trust us with their sweet treat needs.

With that being said, here are some pretty pink cupcakes and macarons for a babyshower.

We will be at the Dupo Farmer's Market on Saturday May 23rd. This week, the market is from 8-2.

My husband will running the market for the first few hours, so make sure you are extra nice so he will want to help again!

This is our tentative menu. We are trying a few new things to see how they do.

If there is a certain item you would like added to the menu for one of the markets, feel free to comment below. We are trying to keep our menu interesting, but we want to make sure we are bringing crowd favorites! The chocolate cupcakes were a request from the last market!

Nothing makes you feel your age quite like doing preschool graduation cupcakes!

This customer has been getting cupcakes from me since before he was born! Hoping I get to recreate these cupcakes in 13 years for his High School Graduation!

Baking isnt the only thing I enjoy doing. I also really love cooking, maybe even more than baking.

In fact, I love cooking so much, I would love to write a cookbook one day (in all my spare time)!

My mom always request dinner at my house for Mother's day. We usually celebrate on Saturday night so no one has to rush home. This year she requested a blistered tomato and corn rissoto topped with a little fresh basil and a simple green salad with a homemade red wine and shallot vinegarette. It was the epitome of a summer meal!
