This weekend was incredibly tough, probably the hardest weekend so far with my business.
I worked from 5pm Friday evening until Sunday morning at 2am straight and it was still not enough.

Truthfully I took too many orders and it backfired so hard. I thought that I was prepared, I was organized and focused all week, working 10 hour days to get ahead but preorders were all late to get out of the door in the end which is so disappointing to me.

This is an area of business that I struggle with and am very much still learning how to not overcommit myself to where I am working 80hr weeks every week.

So if you had a preorder that went out the door an hour late I am sorry for the last minute changes!

All this to say I am taking a break from preorders this week to rest and be able to reset after an extremely busy 3 weeks.

We are trying to figure out how to use Square for preorders so I don’t have to manually watch Hotplate which will solve a lot of the problem. I know I am so incredibly blessed to have this “problem” and customers that are as excited as I am about Flour Fable cookies! 💕
Thanks for sticking with me and just know no one is more excited to have double ovens and employees to help me than I am 😂

I might be biased, but May cookie flavors are ✨gorgeous✨ all together! This is a great mix of cookies that I think hits all the flavor notes 😌

This week’s preorder opens up Tuesday at 7pm and also includes the limited Mother’s Day specials posted yesterday 💐

Preorders will go live Tuesday at 7pm with the following pickup options:
✨Saturday 5/9 10-1pm ; 3-7pm (porch pickup in Columbia)
✨Saturday 5/9 12-5pm
✨Saturday 5/9 12-5pm
✨Sunday 5/10 9-12pm

Note: I am not making as many cinnamon rolls as usual since we will also have May cookies. If you have your eyes on the buns I HIGHLY recommend signing up for a preorder reminder text at the link in my bio 😊
I will be bringing a few of each box set to the farmers market, but will not have many, so I recommend preordering to avoid any disappointment! 💕

The Mother’s Day preorder will have special Mother’s Day items on the menu, so keep an eye out for that 💐🌸🌷

Lastly, the end of the month might get a bit weird with preorders as I am 🤞🏻hoping🤞🏻the storefront will be opening early June. But we will see 🤪
