I have been a way from for a few weeks but I do plan to pop-up at our lovely neighborhood cafe at least once a month through the Summer with delicious global recipes. This week I will take you to Italy, China, Germany, Japan and (my home) Puerto Rico! The Dough X Batter Shire Edition menu for CoolFest has grown a little larger and perhaps a little more magical. I’ve added breads and included more details about each treat so you can plan your visit. 🍞🧁🍪

*Please note that several menu items are exclusive to this special event and will not be part of my usual bakery offerings. Much like treasures hidden beneath the Lonely Mountain, these treats will only appear for a short time and in limited quantities. Calling all Hobbitses, elves, dwarves, and wandering wizards! ✨🌿

For one magical day only, Dough X Batter is transforming into a special Shire Edition at The Arcade District ’s CoolFest!

This exclusive version of DXB will feature a fantasy-inspired menu blending my usual globally inspired treats with flavors and fun from Tolkien’s world. Expect whimsical goodies like Po-Ta-To Cupcakes made with Japanese Sweet Potato, Lembas (Short) Bread Cookies made with real lemon, and other Middle-earth-inspired surprises fit for second breakfast, elevensies, luncheon, afternoon tea, dinner or supper.

Whether you come in costume or simply arrive hungry from your travels, I hope you’ll stop by and experience this cozy little corner of the Shire with me. I'm going all out!

This weekend marks the return of regular porch pickups — with a few updates from last year!

You can now pre-order from my full selection of global breads, plus 2–3 rotating treats each week including buns and cookies 🍞🍪

Big news ✨ Weekly pickups are officially moving to Saturdays! You asked, and I’m making it happen 💛

Here’s the one summer twist: on the 2nd Saturday of each month, pickups will take place at The Vendor Village at Cherry Hill near the entrance of the Village of Cherry Hill (not to worry, it is in the same neighborhood and street)🌿

Why the change? Two simple reasons:

1. I’ll already be there early setting up the market
2. It’s the perfect chance for you to come enjoy the park, explore the vendors, and soak in the community vibes

Good news: pickup hours stay the same! And if you need extras, you can shop from the day’s inventory when you visit . I may even have a few surprise items that aren’t on the pre-order menu 👀

This week’s menu is live now at www.doughxbatter.com and remember that you have way more bread loaf options on-line than what I have planned for the market menu. Be sure to place your order by Thursday at 9am to secure the treats you want 🍞✨
