🍞✨ KDough books are OPEN! ✨🍪

Books are officially open for the week, but I also wanted to share a little update as we head into September! 🤎

With our sweet baby boy making his arrival this month, I’ll be taking a little time away from custom cakes to soak up all the newborn snuggles and spend time with my family. 🥹

🎂 I will not be booking any cake orders from September 13th through October 24th. If you need a cake before then, now is the time to get on my books!

The good news: I’m hoping to ease back into regular bread, cookie & muffin orders starting October 12th — and FALL MENU SEASON will be waiting for me when I do. 🍂

I’m already planning to bring back a few favorites from last year, including:
🍁 Maple Streusel Muffins
🤎 Browned Butter Snickerdoodles
🍎 Apple Oatmeal Cookies

…and there may just be a few other fall favorites making their return. 👀 More on that once we get a little closer!

For now, this week’s books are OPEN for all your KDough favorites! 🫶🏼

Okay I’m a little grumpy about this one 😂

Because WHY is it always the best looking loaves that don’t get to stay home with me?!

This Cheddar Jalapeño loaf came out absolutely gorgeous — crispy golden crust, cheesy goodness, little pops of jalapeño… and of course, it already belongs to someone else. 🥲

One of these days I’m going to “accidentally” make an extra. For quality control purposes, obviously. 🤷🏼‍♀️

Another week, another excuse to stock up on K-Dough goodies 🤍 I’m officially accepting orders!

A few favorites from the regular menu:

🤎 Cinnamon Rolls — with cream cheese or buttercream frosting

This unicorn cake was SO much fun to make — bright colors, plenty of sparkle, and a little surprise once you cut inside. 🌈

Six layers of rainbow-colored vanilla cake, stacked with vanilla buttercream and topped with the cutest unicorn details! And of course, matching cupcakes to complete the set. 💕💜🩵💛

This week’s spotlight has to be the Cherry Cobbler Muffins 🤤 A soft vanilla-almond muffin packed with fresh cherries, topped with sweet cherry jam and finished with a buttery cinnamon streusel. They’ve quickly become one of my favorite summer bakes, and they’re only here for the season! ❤️

This fun little cake went out the door recently and I couldn’t resist sharing it! Featuring the cutest dachshund details, colorful confetti accents, and plenty of personality, this cake was such a joy to create.

Inside is a bright and refreshing lemon cake layered with whipped white chocolate ganache and finished with a smooth cream cheese frosting. The perfect combination of sweet, tangy, and creamy for a summer celebration. ☀️✨

Sometimes the simplest designs end up being some of my favorites, and this one definitely made the list. 💛
