Hi, I’m Leah—the face behind Sprig & Spoon, a home bakery and flower shop here in Coeur d’Alene, ID.

A little about me: I grew up on a guest ranch in the mountains of Colorado. Being raised in the hospitality industry gave me a deep appreciation for attention to detail and for creating a warm, welcoming environment.

Baking with my mom was something I always loved, so it was no surprise when I attended the Oregon Culinary Institute, where I earned my Baking & Pastry degree. Since then, the Lord has taken me on quite a journey—from running a kitchen at a Bible college in Wyoming to working as a gelato chef here in Coeur d’Alene.

Still, I could never shake the dream of creating my own bakery. In August 2025, I opened Sprig & Spoon with the vision of combining some of my favorite things: baked goods, flowers and plants, and meaningful gifts. My hope is to brighten your day, make life a little sweeter, and help you give gifts filled with encouragement and love.
