2023’s last Cookie Pin cookie class!

I know I’ve told some of you, but wanted to officially announce here.

I am pushing pause on taking custom orders.

——Why??——

1) I hold myself to a certain standard and I haven’t been running my business as well as I normally like. I’ve been accidentally letting things slip through cracks and it hasn’t been fair to my customers.

2) Life has been INSANE. Between sports, other after school activities, PTA, and school events, I feel like I can’t keep up!

3) We’re FINALLY settling into our house and it feels AMAZING! We moved into our house and are still in boxes 😅 we’re finally getting things organized and it makes me feel like I can breathe easier!

4) Ultimately, I’m exhausted. I’m burnt out. I’ve shed tears over cookies. A break is necessary if I’m going to find my love for cookies again.

——-But I still want cookies!——

Well you’re in luck! I’m not totally done! I still plan on teaching cookie classes and offering holiday cookies!

I can’t wait to make you cookies that I’m PROUD of! I’m so thankful for all of you who have stuck with me over all these years! You guys are amazing!

And one last thing! I do have a list of recommended local cookiers! They’re all incredibly nice people and I’d be happy to share their info with you.

I haven’t done an introduction in a while!!

Hi!!! 👋🏼 I’m Sheila! Happily married mom of 3 here! I came into cookies trying to find myself again after being a stay at home mom for a few years. Let’s be real, being a mom is HARD. But it’s also so ridiculously REWARDING!!

In my “spare” time, my husband and I have decided to take on making sourdough bread and gardening! It’s been so much fun for us!

And as you may know, I’ve also been working on products for bakers because you can never have enough crap that screams “I LOVE TO BAKE!” Or “HMU I have sweets!” 😂

I’m coffee OBSESSED. I love Emily in Paris, and I listen to books that I would never admit that I’m listening to 😂😂 I’m a homebody for sure and I love snuggling my kids and building Ikea furniture with my husband hahaha (I’m totally not kidding!)

I think the cookie community is probably the best community that I’ve ever known. They’re some of the nicest and most supportive groups of people out there. I’ve been super blessed to have found this “hobby” of mine because it has brought so many wonderful people into my life through customers and like minded cookiers!

If you ever see me out or at a market, please do say hi! I love meeting people in this community! There’s always so much negativity being spread in the news, so meeting nice people always gives me a little more hope for this world 😊

I was working on Easter orders, was on my LAST cookie… picked him up and his freaking head fell off 🤦🏻‍♀️🤦🏻‍♀️🤦🏻‍♀️😭
