Samual and Gary came to hunt BIG gators on public waters, and we weren’t about to settle!

We passed on multiple 10-footers looking to get into that 11-foot class, and the patience paid off!

We finished the hunt with a solid 11’2” and a bobbed-tail 10’8” that would’ve easily been in the mid-11s with a full tail!

Two absolute studs off public waters! When you’re willing to pass on good gators to find great ones, this is what can happen!

Great time at P4 Ranch with Judd and his family! Three nice 6-foot gators and plenty of fun along the way. Nothing better than getting the whole family out for a successful day of gator hunting!

Three years in the making, and it was worth the wait!

Al reached out to us three years ago with one goal in mind—bring his group down to Florida and hunt the biggest gators possible.

Sounds simple enough, but when you’re running eight businesses, finding the time to get everyone together isn’t exactly easy. Between schedules, travel, and everything else, it took us three years to make it happen.

Well, we finally got it done, and I’d say the wait paid off!

Three absolute giants in one day!

Al wanted big gators, and we weren’t about to disappoint. This is the kind of day you wait three years for!

Thanks to Al and his crew for trusting Central Florida Trophy Hunts to get it done. Hell of a day with a great group of guys!

Age is just a number, and 84-year-old Cal is proof of that!

Cal and his hunting partner Brad came down for a Gerehart hunt with CFTH, and they flat got after it! Two great alligators and SIX hogs later, I’d say these boys had themselves one heck of a hunt!

Always great seeing guys who still have that kind of drive and love for the outdoors. Congratulations, Cal and Brad! Thanks for hunting with CFTH!

Capt. Nick making quick work of an Osceola County hunt!

A 9’1” and a 7’5” in the boat in just a couple hours, and they never even made it around the lake.

Missed one and got flat-out juked by an 11-footer along the way.

Not a bad couple hours on the water! That big boy might’ve won this round, but we know where he lives. 🐊

What an awesome day of gator hunting for this father and son from Tennessee!

They came down to hunt with CFTH targeting a couple of 9–10 ft gators. Well… the ranch had a couple of problem gators they wanted us to address, and it turned out both were exactly the kind of gators you want to find.

The first one had actually tried to eat a FULL-GROWN COW. Once we got our hands on him, we understood why.

12’1” of full-grown Florida alligator. An absolute stud.

Gator #2 had already caught a calf and had been giving the ranch fits. He was what we call a “culvert gator” — living right beside a culvert and using it for protection anytime he felt pressure.

After a little convincing, we finally called him out, got a hook in him, and finished the job.

10’7”.

They came to Florida looking for 9–10 footers and headed home with a 12’1” and a 10’7”.

Travis came all the way down from Idaho to hunt with CFTH… and we made sure the trip was worth it.

A 9’3” to get things rolling, then followed it up with one just shy of 11 feet.

Please join us in welcoming Ryan Verzaal as the newest duck guide at Central Florida Trophy Hunts.

A Florida native and lifelong waterfowler, Ryan has completed the North American Waterfowl Grand Slam, harvesting all 43 species of ducks, geese, and swans. He also serves as chapter chairman of Ducks Unlimited South Brevard, working to protect the wetlands and habitat waterfowl depend on.

When he’s not hunting, Ryan trains and breeds Labrador retrievers and enjoys running his dogs whenever he can. He spends time with his wife and daughter, hunts big game in the mountains around the world, and chases mallards and geese on his rice farm in Arkansas.

We’re excited to have Ryan bringing his experience and passion for waterfowl to the CFTH team.
