These are my most favorite cakes right now!!!! I love the whimsical feel of vintage buttercream cakes. This is the style of cake you would see in your story books as a kid. They bring me joy!

Since custom cakes are often now the gift, we put them in a stand in a place of honor.

Show me movement while standing still.

These rice paper sails look like they are floating in air.

It wasn’t until I saw the photos of this cake that I realized how gorgeous it was. It’s beautiful to me not only because it’s a damn fine looking cake, but it illustrates how far I’ve come in my skills as a cake artist.

When the client suggested the colors I was very concerned this was going to be “Easter-riffic” but this cake ended in a thing of beauty.

As a creative, I love seeing what our clients do with our cakes. I’m a big fan of a little staging to make a party truly pop!

I have been baking for for a few years now. I get so excited to see how she will take one of our creations and surround it with whimsy and beauty. (She is also a big lover of Pink Christmas so you know I love this woman)

Many clients who don’t want to spend $$$ for a cake- I suggest going with one of our classic designs. I recommended this cake for a little festive home party she was throwing. The result….she lit this whole post up with Holiday Cheer and brought ALL THE JOY to my world!
