Jackie lived her life full of hope and full of love. When she was 20, she was diagnosed with a very rare form of cancer. There was no known treatment protocol for her but she was determined to live and tried everything and anything her b
ody could bare, from open chest surgery to various types of chemotherapies and radiation therapies. And even when doctors gave her the news that there was just nothing that could be done to save her, she was still hopeful. She believed in miracles, believed in healing and most of all, believed in God's plans for her. She travelled the world, shopped, dined and had planned to open her own patisserie one day. She always had a passion for desserts and beautiful sweet arts. Sadly, Jackie passed away on November 22, 2013. But her love didn't diminish with her death. Her love of God, her compassion for the needy and her affection for everyone that surrounded her, inspired so many people that her church created a video about her journey. On the day Jackie passed away, the video became viral globally and was seen in over 51 countries. Celebrities were even tweeting about Jackie's video and her inspiration on the living. In memory of Jacqueline, in the spirit of her affection and kindness, Minty H brings Jackie's wish of having a patisserie to fruition. Our customized gourmet cupcakes with proceeds will help to raise money to finding a cancer cure and bringing awareness on the urgency of ending cancer now. The end of cancer can and will happen with our participation. The philosophy and values of Minty H is to make a direct impact on finding a cure to cancer so that not another family would suffer the lost of a loved one to cancer ... so that no other persons dreams would be cut short like my niece's. We support Stand Up 2 Cancer, which is a charity that focuses on the goal of ending cancer. With every order and every purchase, Minty H will donate a generous portion of the proceeds in memory of Jacqueline Li to Stand Up 2 Cancer.
