Good morning, each and every one of you! Right now is always the time to lay it all out. There are certain things that will always be true, and others that will always be lies - Love is the highest of all truths, and hate is the lowliest of all lies. We live in a world split between the two. We reside in bodies split between the two. There is always a choice to be made, and actions to be taken. Will we choose truth or lies? I hope for myself that I can choose to love today. I can choose to leave that positive impact on the universal order of things. When I descend into hate and anger things will never go well, and nothing or nobody will be the better for it. Hate and anger will always lead to destruction. Love and light will always lead to healing, growth, and community.

P.S. This holiday weekend, there are a ton of things going on in Cleveland. One thing on Sunday, is the All Things For You flea. It will be going on from 11a-5p, and we will be open until 4p serving up rippers (those breakfast tacos we do from time to time), and G-Man’s Most World Famous Grilled Cheese Sandwiches™️. ***Rippers and grilled cheese served from 11-4*** We’ll look forward to seeing you!!

Happy Friday morning to all of you beautiful people!! It is looking like the weather is inching into something wonderful for the weekend - rising temps and some sunshine. We’re over here baking up some tasty treats, checking in with our regulars, and looking forward to seeing you all. If there’s anything that is important to us here, it is supporting the people around us. It’s creating a safe space for you all to come and be yourself. It’s not only being a part of the community, but also being a part of building community. Let us love on others, be compassionate, embrace humility, and try our damndest to make a positive impact on the here and now. We LOVE you ALL ❤️

My mother. My dearest, sweetest, strongest, most beautiful mother. Your voice soothes. Your stories bring wonder. Your wisdom supplants the ways of this world. Your love conquers all. You are my reason for my being, my breathing, and for my walking out into the world with the courage to love another day. You taught me how to give, sing, laugh, cry, and cherish my daughter. You taught me my first chords on the guitar. You showed me strength and endurance through your illness when I was such a child, how to forgive and love during the darkest days of my troubled mind, and how to always maintain hope for a brighter thru your own life story. I cannot express the gratitude, the love, and the joy I feel to be your son. To have such a mom as you is a blessing that nothing can come close to. Our relationship is so special and dear to my heart. I can still feel your strong and graceful fingers running thru my hair, and the comfort of your cuddles. I can still hear your voice singing me lullabies - so soft and sweet… a melodious masterpiece. Everything you are is perfect to me. Every triumph and tribulation has made you the strong woman and mother you are, and you have worked tirelessly to impart those fruits onto me. I will always love you, cherish you, and be in awe of you. I LOVE YOU, MOM ❤️

Hello, all of you wonderful and beautiful people! Tomorrow, April 23rd, marks our seven year anniversary of opening. WOW, what a seven years it has been! So many faces and stories! It is hard to sum anything up other than it has been such an absolute pleasure to serve you and to see you thru your days and months and years! We are so grateful for your support and participation in this dream we have here at Terrapin. We can’t wait for seven more! Tomorrow we will be running 7 donut ‘half dozens’ and will be running a raffle with the prize being a $25 gift card and pound of coffee - for every $7 you spend, you will get one entry. We’re looking forward to seeing all of you, either tomorrow or down the road sometime. LOVE to you ALL ❤️

People, people, people! Tomorrow marks the Return of The Rippers! C’mon down and grab some before you miss the opportunity. We will be serving them from open-11am. We’ve got bacon or turkey, with potatoes, eggs, cilantro, guac, hot sauce, cheddar, and cotija. They come on either flour or corn tortillas and a slice of lime on the side.

Good morning, all of you beautiful people. As the world spins out of control thru the void of space, it appears that we, too, are out of control. If the events of the last couple of weeks prove anything, it is that there is more hatred in this world that the mind can handle, and there is equally as much love (if not more!). The cold, cruel, and entirely evil words and deeds of our leaders are upsetting and terrifying. The conversations that I’ve had over the last couple of days have left me exhausted and stupefied. I have gained no understanding as to how any sane minded individual can press forth with such brute force and ignorance in support of our national government’s stances and actions. If me stating this sentiment is surprising to you, or upsetting to you, I have no idea how you have missed the entire point of this lowly establishment. We exist here at Terrapin to humbly serve, love, empathize with, and support you thru your trials of life. We are so grateful for the support of this community, and we are eager to see this day thru with you. LOVE TO YOU ALL ❤️

Good morning, all of you beautiful people! We’re rolling along steady this morning, and we have a myriad of awesome goodies for your holiday weekend. We’ve got some coconut cream tarts and raspberry cheese danishes that just came out. We’ve got pop tarts on their way to being topped and set out. There are also take n bake cinnamon rolls in the freezer, coffee cakes, and quiches! C’mon down and grab what you need! Tomorrow, we will be open 8-10a for you last minute folks 😜.
