These two were raised in these walls. Finnian, just 6 months old when we opened; Lilian, born shortly after our first anniversary. To them this has been their home away from home, their playground, their snack factory, and their very large family.
Our incredible team tolerated tripping over their toys during the busiest hours, their need to Windex the front of the pastry cases at the most inconvenient times, their incessant demands for “just one more” macaron, and their dish rack obstacle courses. And at all times, the staff gracefully, patiently, and enthusiastically raised them as their own.
As we grieve the end of this chapter of the business, we also reflect on how grateful we are for the beautiful souls that found us, loved us, and who will forever remain family to us. We are better for having spent so much time with you all, and Finn and Lil are incredibly fortunate to be able to call you family.
Now, we look forward with wide and excited eyes toward the future. To continue to dream big. To infect the next generation with limitless imagination and fearless adventure.
We begin writing that chapter now.
