📚⚡ Things are getting a little magical at Ruddle's Bread & Book for Tennessee Restaurant Week!

Coming this October, Ruddle’s is transforming into Ruddle’s in Diagon Alley, with a Harry Potter-themed shop featuring themed food and drinks.

Ruddle’s Bread & Book is a mom-and-pop shop and cozy Appalachian bakery and used bookstore in downtown Cleveland. They offer fresh artisan baked goods, handcrafted coffee, and a community-focused “Third Place” where people can gather, slow down, and browse pre-loved books.

What a weekend.

The kind that leaves the cups empty, the baked goods sold out, the bookshelves a little lighter and our hearts very full.

To our regulars, thank you for making Ruddle’s part of your life. We love knowing your favorite drink, watching you settle into your usual spot, and noticing when your bookmark has finally made its way to the end!

To the families who wandered in between plans, sharing a few baked goods and a little time together; thank you for letting us be a small part of your day.

And to the new folks we met this weekend, what a joy it was to welcome you to Ruddle’s. We hope you made a wonderful memory with us and felt the genuine love for hospitality that we pour into this little place.

We’re excited to officially announce our partnership with Thousand Hills Family Farm as our local source for eggs!

That means all of our baked goods are made with local eggs from pasture raised hen, purchased directly from the farmer.

Our top priorities are animal health, egg quality, and supporting local farmers who make our community special.

So when you purchase a baked good from us, know that you’re not only supporting a local business; you’re supporting local agriculture, too.

You can also find Thousand Hills’ eggs right down the road from us at Apple Valley Orchard!

Wednesday, August 26th, every child who visits Ruddle’s will receive ONE FREE CHILDREN’S BOOK with any purchase of drink or baked goods in honor of Dolly.

As one of many who grew up receiving books through her Imagination Library, it would be a privilege for us to share that same kindness with the kiddos of our community.

What a beautiful weekend at Ruddle’s! We are so grateful to everyone who joined us as we celebrated 3 amazing years of Ruddle’s with an official ribbon cutting and sign unveiling!
