✨The Duke’s Next Quest✨
For the first couple of months, Noah was simply a regular, spending his afternoons reading in the window booths with his sweet girlfriend, who has since become his lovely wife. He’d settle in with an espresso and a good book, often staying until closing (and then some) as our conversations wandered deeper into life, books, and everything in between.
Then came one busy day in October. Noah came to the counter sharing his knowledge of espresso and offered to assist in anyway he could. We welcomed his help and since that day he’s been part of the Ruddle’s team.
Over the years, Noah became so much more than our manager. He’s been a collaborator, the fearless espresso machine captain, and the Duke of Ruddle’s. His dedication, creativity, and steady presence have helped shape this place into what it is today. Making Ruddle’s a safe space for so many, while delivering a top-notch coffee experience for everyone who walks through our doors. His imprint on the heart and philosophy of Ruddle’s will remain long after his final shift.
This Friday from 10AM to 4PM will be Noah’s last day at Ruddle’s. While we’re sad to see him go, we’re incredibly grateful for everything he’s poured into our little used bookstore café. We’re also excited to cheer him on as he continues pursuing his professional running career - and we have a feeling he’ll be reclaiming his regular status too.
If you’ve gotten to know Noah over the years, we’d love for you to stop by this Friday, wish him well, and help us celebrate everything he’s meant to the Ruddle’s community.
Cheers to the Duke!
Much love dear friend,
The King & Queen of Ruddle’s
