Apparently there’s not only one baker around here! 😂👩‍🍳👨‍🍳

My other half always takes on my birthday cake requests and ALWAYS delivers! 🙌🎂

This year’s request: Lemon cake with lemon cream cheese buttercream 🍋💛 and let me tell you… it was a HIT!! 😍

I may have to put him to work more often! 😂🍰

🍞 Can I ask a little favor?🍪

If you’ve ever had anything from Mel’s Homemade Kitchen — sourdough, cakes, cookies, cinnamon rolls, or any of my other goodies — I’d LOVE if you took a minute to leave us a Facebook review! ⭐

Your reviews and recommendations help my little home bakery more than you know. 🫶

And y’all… fall is almost here, which means you already KNOW I’m about to start baking (and posting) even more! 🤎

So show us a little love before pumpkin season officially takes over my kitchen. 🎃

We've been busy but not to busy for cakes for friends! Ombre and glitter are fun!
