Although I'm late on posting, this set was extremely special to me, and I didn't want to neglect sharing.

My daughter was diagnosed with Type One Diabetes when she was just 6 years old, and we have been active with Breakthrough T1D (formerly JDRF) for the last 10 years.

This year's theme for the Promise Ball was 'A License to Cure,' and I was asked to create a special set of cookies to help kick it off. When all was said and done BT1D South Central Texas raised around $1.6 million at the Promise Ball, helping fund T1D research. 💙

I've been working on getting caught up on the pictures. And these cookies take us back to January when The Comal County Friends of the Night Sky held their FREE public screening of "The Stars at Night" at Garden Ridge City Hall. What a fun treat to include! 🔭⭐️
