If you’re new here… HI. I’m Shannon. 👋🏼
The face, baker, cookie dough enthusiast, dog lover, and slightly chaotic human behind One Dough at a Time CLT. 🍪

ODAAT is a Charlotte cottage bakery born out of sobriety, healing, a whole lot of dreaming, and the belief that sometimes you really can build a new life one dough at a time. 🤎

And if you’ve been around for a minute, you already know I don’t do boring.

I make:
🍪 BIG, chunky, gooey cookies
🍫 Brownies + dessert bars
🎃 Ridiculously fun seasonal treats
🍰 Dessert trays for your people

I’m also not your girl for the perfectly smooth, 17-tier fondant cake. 😂
That’s a job for another professional. I’m over here making the kind of desserts that you remember your grandma baking.

But underneath all the sugar, chocolate, and questionable amounts of butter, ODAAT means something really freaking special to me.

This business is part of my sobriety story.
It’s part of my healing.
It’s part of my growth.
And it’s a reminder that beautiful things can come from the messiest seasons of life.

Our featured speaker is Cara Truitt | Public Speaker, TedX Sugar Creek Producer, Podcast Host & Speaker. It’s going to be unforgettable & undoubtedly impactful!

We’re proud to partner with She Dreams In Color Foundation for Women’s mental health, the featured nonprofit for this event. A portion of all ticket sales will be donated to their work to fund mental health private practices to provide reduced cost mental health therapy to marginalized women in Charlotte.

I had such a blast at the Founders Soirée last night! ✨

It was such an honor to be a sponsor for this incredible event. Huge thank you to Faith Hill for putting together such an amazing networking experience! 🥂

I met so many wonderful people, enjoyed some seriously delicious food, had some deep and meaningful conversations, and—of course—got to share my sweet treats with everyone! 🍪💖

I’m so grateful for the connections I made and can’t wait to see where they lead. There’s something so exciting about bringing good people together and seeing what can come from it.

What an incredible day. 💖

I feel so honored to have been a vendor at this special event. Sobriety didn’t just save Mike"The Situation"Sorrentino life—it saved mine too, along with so many others. Seeing him give that gift back tenfold by creating a place of hope and healing is truly inspiring.

There is such a need for recovery centers, resources, and communities that remind people they don’t have to fight this battle alone. Today was beautiful, full of connection, hope, and people coming together for something so much bigger than themselves.

Thank you to everyone who played a part in making today possible. Let’s keep spreading hope, supporting recovery, and bringing awareness… one (dough) at a time. 🍪✨
