Designed with intention, this piece brings together classic elegance and school pride—royal blue and white tones, a marbled buttercream finish, delicate white roses, and a crown fit for the occasion.

Using lemon cake layers, cream cheese frosting, and strawberry buttercream that remained from prior work, I leaned into the process—letting texture, color, and florals guide the final design.

An exploration of texture, color, and composition.

With extra layers of lemon cake, cream cheese frosting, and strawberry buttercream on hand, I chose to create instead of discard—transforming extra cake layers into something entirely new.

Soft sage buttercream, finished with an intentionally organic texture, paired with fresh florals and subtle dried fruit for a balanced, spring-inspired design.

A reminder that creativity begins with what’s already in front of you.
