Test Batch #1. Mocha Java Chip
Can’t decide how I feel about these yet. Great flavor. Needs to be a tad more moist. I roughly chopped dark chocolate covered espresso beans and incorporated into the cookie dough. They were good by themselves but not caring too much for them inside the cookie. Thinking I should change it a bit. 😢. Not every recipe I create is a winner! It’s time consuming and expensive!! lol Still got some work to do on this one. In the meantime, I’m bouncing off the wall from all this coffee. 🤣🤣☕️

I’m very excited to get started with the actual making of the new cookie recipe I’ve been working on. I’ve already come up with a name. I just googled it to see if anyone else had already used it and I don’t see it anywhere. I did see similar for a drink at Starbucks. I haven’t been there in so many years I didn’t realize. The name of my new cookie will be, ** Mocha Java Chip Cookies **. They may be Iced Mocha Java Chip. I have a couple ideas swirling around in my head so I’ll have to play with it before I present them. I just can’t believe it’s taking so long for my order to get here 😡. Coming from Washington 😭. Supposed to arrive Wednesday. Wish me luck. Ingredients are so expensive I hate to play around and end up with a dud!!!!! 🍪

The Ultimate Oatmeal Creme Pie! Spot on!! These turned out amazing, if I do say so myself! Over the past few years I have basically stopped eating store bought snack cakes…you know the brand. I can taste so many chemicals in them that I don’t even like them anymore. I’m not sure why? Is it because I’ve gotten used to eating fresh, scratch made products OR are they actually adding more chemicals? Possibly a little of both? After my brother has lived here for a year now, I mentioned that to him as well. Now, he notices it too. Store bought is definitely more convenient, but scratch made is soooo much better. I give these an A++. My grandkids are just getting out of school today for the summer. Thought this would be a nice treat!
