The wall that greets you when you first walk into the bakery is a little collection of things we love. We wallpapered it with recipes we have gathered from antique cookbooks, old church cookbooks, and Southern cookbooks we’ve found while thrifting. Then we hung up our collection of copper molds, because we’ve never met an old baking tool we didn’t want to bring home.
We love that while you’re waiting in line, you can actually stop and read the recipes. Some are practical, some are a little peculiar, and some sound like something your grandmother might have made. It feels right to have all those old recipes watching over a kitchen where we’re still making things by hand every day. 💚
