Do you ever wonder… “Where did the name Floured Cow Micro Bakery come from?” 🐮🌸🍞

Well, here’s the story behind it.

“Floured” is spelled the way it is because baking is truly at the heart of everything we do — from sourdough loaves to cookies and all the sweet little things in between. Flour is basically my love language. 🤍

And the “Cow” part? That comes from my absolute OBSESSION with Highland cows. If I could convince my husband and somehow fit one in town… trust me, we’d already have one. 😂🐂

But honestly, Floured Cow is more than just baking. It’s all the things I love wrapped into one little dream — cozy homemade treats, farm life, gardening, flowers, markets, and creating things with my hands.

I’m also completely obsessed with fresh farm-grown flowers. I grow my own every season, but I also LOVE grabbing bouquets from our besties at South Troy Farms 🌷

And tonight feels extra special because I got to enjoy my first bouquet of flowers from my garden this season. There’s just something so rewarding about bringing in fresh blooms you grew yourself after waiting all winter long. 🫶

So basically… Floured Cow Micro Bakery was built from all my favorite things:

✨ farm vibes
✨ sourdough
✨ cozy homemade goodness
✨ and a slightly concerning love for Highland cows
