I had a request for a dill pickle loaf 🥒 🍞
I have made them before but it’s not a common request. This time, we added sharp cheddar because well, we’re adults and you can do that sort of thing if you want.
10/10, no notes.

Italian Rainbow Cake but make it birthday 🎉
My newly 10 year old always requests this almond flavored cake with raspberry jam for her birthday. While normally red, yellow, and green, she requested purple ombré because, well, she can 😄

Cinnamon sugar sourdough Saturday!
My kids see me baking bread for other people all the time and my daughter always asks, “is that for us?!” I say no, to which she whines, “why don’t you ever make us any?” I had extra capacity this week to make a cinnamon sugar swirl bread to start the weekend and can I just brag on how gorgeous she is? 😍 Bulk fermentation had me losing sleep for a long time and I am so proud of this crumb!
