Carmel Bakery, established in 1906, one of Carmel’s oldest running businesses has been owned by the Pèpe family for 25 years. Rich Pèpe started working in his uncle’s bakery in New Jersey at the age of 14 and likes to say, “I’m a baker first, a chef second”.
