Today marked the end of a chapter for so many of us. Between the memories you all shared and the tears as we said goodbye, we just wanted to say thank you.

We had to say goodbye to our regulars, our standing customers, new faces and old faces and, lastly, we had to say goodbye to our coworkers or, as we consider each other, our work family.

This past week has been very hard for us all, and we just wanted to say thank you.

As we close this chapter, we walk away with so many good times spent with you all which we can call family.

All our orders are put together, and we have plenty for you to stop in and get your last round of Herman’s bakery donuts!

We close at 1pm, and it will be our last day of us being open!!

Tomorrow, Wednesday, July 31st, is our last day we are open.

We HIGHLY suggest placing any orders you want, even the smaller amounts, as we have been so busy.

All orders for Wednesday must be placed by 1 pm at the latest. After that, we will not be accepting orders as our bakers have a very long night and need to prep themselves.

We will accept Facebook orders through messenger for the last day if you cannot reach anyone by phone. It will reply automatically saying not to place orders. Just disregard that and someone will get you as soon as possible.

We CANNOT GUARANTEE that you will get what you want if you just walk in and do not have an order placed.

Thank you does not begin to cover all of your kind words and memories shared.

We have been so busy today and have been saying our goodbyes to each of you.

With that being said, some things are different as we are near the day of closing.

-Our credit/debt card machine is gone, so we are only accepting cash or checks.

-with everyone making last minute stops, we please ask you to call ahead for larger orders or even orders in general to guarantee you get what you would like.

With this, we just want to make sure you get your Herman’s bakery goodies one last time❤️

With a heavy heart, we are here to inform you that Herman’s Bakery will be closing.

Wednesday, July 31st, is our last day.

This was not an easy decision, and we wish things would have worked out differently. We just wanted to say thank you for your support for all these years. We consider you all to be our family and will miss you dearly.

We as a staff have grown as well and have been part of each other's lives for so many years. I was 15 when I started working at the bakery and the ladies watched me grow. So many of you have watched me grow, from prom to graduation to meeting my two kids. The bakery is family and so are all of you.

My grandma (Marty) has done all she can, and she will miss you all so much. The memories she shares with you and all the laughs will forever be a part of us.

If you have a memory of Herman’s bakery or Marty, please message me as she would love to hear from you all. Otherwise, you can stop by and see her at the bakery.

We wish you all the happiness in the world, and thank you for having us be part of your family. ❤️
