Organic sourdough sandwhich bread. This batch was 50/50 KA and whole wheat. This morning I turned it into French toast. It was so soft and slightly tangy, which I love. Truly a delight. 😋

This is what it feels like preparing food by candlelight. Calm. Easy. Serendipitous. All the happy chemicals in my brain and body come out to play.

I know this won't be my forever journey of baking every meal, but right now it feels just right.

Onto candlemaking, for summer is coming.

Good morning, neighbors. This may not be Stars Hollow 🏡 but that doesn't mean we can't enjoy each others company. One of the reasons I created Lipstick Alibi was to build a community. Community online isn't the same as in person, to me.
Here, you can order on Monday, then pickup your order on Thursday, Friday, or Saturday and stay for a chat. There is so much to know about a person and it takes something greater than ourselves to get out of our comfort zones and make a neighbor your friend. I hope Lipstick Alibi will grow into that special *something*.
