Hobby Baker, I started out by making Bills cookies in 2025. I continued practicing so I could make my own Wedding Cookies.

I enjoy getting creative, making beautiful & delicious cookies to share with others!

Hello!! I know I've been quiet so I just wanted to hop on, check in and say Hi!! It's been a struggle not being able to sell cookies like I had hoped too.

Sooooo, I've been filling my time with cleaning jobs. I am available for residential cleanings during the day if anyone is interested 😘 It's keeping me busy & distracted at least.

One of my clients & hopefully a new friend said "Cleaning & Cookies!" & I am just so fortunate to have so many encouraging & supportive people (to many to list, but I appreciate you all) in my life & I am pivoting, adapting & adjusting. My hope is to make enough money to move and be able to operate a home cookie business again!
I don't know what the future has in store for me, I'm just living in the moment & we'll see where it takes me!

2 months ago I was asked to make a cookie of a Bills ticket to be gifted for an epic surprise along with extra cookies for the Birthday party. I was able to experiment with several new Bills themed designs and it was such an honor to be a part of their special moment! Happy Birthday Sully!! I hope you save a few for game day! Have so much fun!

Laugh with me? I recorded this a few weeks ago, it helps the icing settle to shake the cookie a little, its important not to lose your grip 🤣 1 Stadium cookie takes around 15 minutes to complete, so its sped up.

Sorry its a silent video I find music & audio gets annoying after 20 seconds, what do you think?

*Full Transparency* For the past month I've been trying to navigate a solution to a problem and... I'm defeated. 🏳

The apartment complex where I live will not allow me to "run a business" from home. As a registered NYS home baker you can only use your own home kitchen. So, if I don't want to lose the roof over my family's head I have to stop selling cookies until we move. We have looked into moving but my daughter has 2 years left at WS West & that has made things difficult.

I barely got my feet wet with this new adventure & I didn't realize how much it all meant to me until it was taken away. I found something I have a passion for, that I'm good at, that others enjoy & I will not give up. I LOVE the business I have created, I love not just making cookies, but designing & creating unique pieces of edible art.

I will not "shut down" Sobo Sweets, because I will be back. This is just a hiccup & I hope you'll hang in there with me! I will still make cookies, and most definitely GIVE them away! I will continue to improve my skills, learn new things and practice for when I can sell again! I will continue to share what I'm working on here because I enjoy it!

I have a couple orders on the schedule that I've committed to for the month of September. Those will be fulfilled as planned, I am looking forward to them!

I can't thank everyone enough for the continued support especially those that have encouraged me this past month. 💗
Things that are meant to be have a way of working out... just gotta hang in til then.
