Second Rising Bakery In-home bakery serving foods under WV Cottage Food Laws. All products are produced at a private residence that is exempt from state licensing and inspection.

Bakery stand open daily 8 AM until dark. We're located right off the Sago Rd, watch for signs!

We're opening late today, Thursday, May 28th, so we can get restocked. It's been a busy week, even with the rain, so thank you.

We have food going, and then I'm going to go see my mama while it cools and I'll be back to package and set it out this afternoon. Thanks for understanding :) We usually stay up overnight and restock when it sells out, but I needed some sleep last night. Sorry for any inconvenience.

There seems to be a lull in this drenching rain, perfect time to snag these $1 deals before it starts again. All baked goods are $1 each. Jelly, honey, and jam are EXCLUDED from this and are their regular price. We will be restocked tomorrow morning.

COMING SATURDAY:

We're doing something I think will be fun with our building. We're going to have a dedicated area where people can draw, add stickers, tape on a business cards, write a nice message etc in our building.

LOCAL BUSINESSES can leave a small advertisement, people can leave a little drawing, whatever. Kids can even leave a little picture. Whatever.

There are only a few rules:

* no politics, nudity, profanity or anything that would be inappropriate for a business that has lots of children coming to it

* only do this in this area, please do not color or stick things to our walls, benches, etc. This will be a dedicated space.

* don't cover up anything someone else left. If it's offensive send us a message and we'll take care of it.

*Leave space for others.

That's it.

Good morning. Today is our clear out day. There are a few pepperoni rolls, some chex mix, and a bunch of bread for $1 each. We tried offering loaves of Amish bread this week because people keep asking for it, but none sold, so we'll return to having loaves of it on weekends only and if anyone wants them through the week they're available for pre-order.

The $1 sale DOES NOT include honey or jelly. Those are their original price. Thanks!

Good morning. Our self- serve stand is stocked up and open today.

We have some day- old pepperoni rolls $2 each, until sold out. We will not be restocking them until tomorrow.

And we have tons of fresh baked goods, cinnamon sugar donut muffins, monster cookies, Amish white bread and rolls, parm herb rolls, plus chex mix, honey, and jelly.

We are open daily until dark. There are bakery and now open signs on the building. The door is closed because we keep air condition running to keep the food at a good temp and so you can stay comfy and dry while stopping in.

39 Hampton Heights Dr, Buckhannon (just off the Sago Rd, the turnoff for Hampton Heights drive is just before Hampton Rd. Gravel road on the left. We're the first house, our property touches the Sago Rd, just our driveway is on Hampton Heights Dr.)

We take cash, cashapp, venmo, paypal, chime for payment options.

We'll also be at Tractor Supply for the farm swap, like usual, on Friday, May 29th at 4pm with some pepperoni rolls and other goodies. Hope to see you there. Looks like its going to be a nice day!

You know. I wasn't going to post this basically wind tunnel video, but stuff happens. We're fully restocked for the afternoon. We've been busy and I worked this weekend, so it took a bit. We have pepperoni rolls, more monster cookies, cinnamon sugar donut muffins that I can't say enough good things about, parm herb rolls, Amish dinner rolls, Amish white bread, jelly, honey.

Bonus: if you have kids they may like the wind tunnel simulator we have going on out they're with the two high velocity fans keeping it comfortable in the building.

We ordered a new air conditioner that's supposed to be here today. So this is just temporary. If it rains, we'll close the door, but we'll try keeping it open right now unless animals try to wander in or something lol.

My hair did not handle the fans well. I look a little wild at the end 😅

Just tossing around ideas for this summer. Is there anyone with a farm or even large garden that would be interested in having their extra produce sold here this summer? We buy wholesale and resell for all the local products we carry. We pay a fair price to our vendors, but need just a little margin for profit :)

We're a permitted farmstand, so we are trying to continue to expand our offerings with local food products, not just our baked goods.
