Peanut butter brownies and pastry will be back on the menu soon! I'm excited to be baking with high quality, organic, and regionally produced peanut butter! It had been difficult to find peanut butter that meets our standards. Thanks to for hooking us up with this product. Hopefully in the future we can grow and grind our own as well!

Big news! Starting in February we will be using organic bread flour! A great loaf of sourdough starts with incredible ingredients. I source the best and most regional ingredients I can find. I'll be doing a series of blogs highlighting each of our ingredient sources, follow to learn more about the amazing ingredient makers we are so blessed to work with!

Due to a last minute employee cancelling we are looking for a skilled tepanyaki chef to fill in for a private party! We will do all the prep all you have to do is show up and put on the show!

One of our claims is "Clean Label", unfortunately like "Farm to Table" or Regenerative Agriculture" there is no definition or commonly agreed upon standard. Moving to stainless steel pans was a big step for us, this piece of equipment is another important step! Pan release agents can be a sneaky source of toxins in baked goods, so I formulated my own using only 3 simple ingredients, locally made sunflower oil, organic sunflower lecithin and pure grain alcohol. And we spray it with an electric pump style sprayer to eliminate nasty propellants! It's one step closer to our perfect loaf and perfect process!

Absolutely beautiful on my hike today, I decided not to harvest this guy yet as I have a full week of work and I'd hate for it to turn in the fridge. Hopefully it will still be there and fresh this weekend when I have some time!
