I have always had a love of baking and worked in a small bakery in 2012. I was diagnosed with Celiac Disease in 2020 and struggled to find good bakery items that weren't dry or just plain inedible. I've played around for 2 years and am still learning how to adjust all my baking knowledge and recipes handed down from my great grandma to accommodate for Gluten Free flour and I want to share that wit

For dinner tonight while I wait for my 24 loaves of sourdough for Cuyuna Range Farmers Market tomorrow to finish rising, I decided to take one of the sub rolls from yesterday and turn it into an air fryer pizza. Sprayed the outside with a bit of oil, covered in butter, cheese, pepperoni and mushroom (on one half). 10/10 would recommend.

Good morning!

A few sales from this last week that I remembered to photograph!

Burger buns, sub buns, red velvet cupcakes, lemon raspberry cupcakes/cakes, lemon blueberry cake, bluebwrry muffins, and spiced rum cupcakes.

You know what is frustrating in the GF world? Finding bread that looks and feels absolutely amazing, practically the same as regular bread and then getting disappointed because it relies on deglutinated wheat and I am allergic to wheat, henceforth the name. ;) But, with that in mind, my bread and sourdough are still amazing day 2, and refresh besutifully in the oven or air fryer with some water day 3-5, as well as make great toast.

I will be at Cuyuna Range Farmers Market for Memorial Day weekend on 5/23. I will have sourdough, and some pans as well as single serve desserts. Let me know what your favorite Memorial Day treats is or what you're hoping to find and I'll see if I can work it into my baking schedule this week!

Tonight's dinner was brought to you by multiple customer orders for burger buns!

100% homemade Sloppy Joe's and buns which had mixed reviews.

Buns were perfect 💯, enjoyed by all. Sloppy Joe's are disgusting by 2 kids. Tolerable by 1 kid, and delicious by the 2 adults. So I guess we'll have food leftover for lunch tomorrow, but most likely no buns by bedtime.

SOURDOUGH POP UP SALE:

There is nothing better on a Friday afternoon than having your final order for the week in the oven, and your corporate job is up to date.

With that being said, today's orders were blueberry crumble muffins (my favorite and i selfishly made extras and ate them all with my toddler for breakfast and lunch), cinnamon rolls, and cranberry wildrice sourdough.

My starter was overflowing so I made 4 extra loaves of the cranberry wild rice sourdough, available any time after 4. Shoot me a message, they are $12 per loaf, images to come after they are out of the oven.

If you would like them sliced and packaged for easy freezing, let me know and I'd be happy to prep this for you for an additional $2 (cost of packaging) BUT they need at least 6 hours to cool before cutting or you risk deflation and gummy slices and pickup would be tomorrow.

Hot tip: only ever rip into a warm slice of gluten free bread.
