We’re excited to be making these beauties for Backwoods BBQ! They are a mix of cornbread and the nostalgic brown bread. A perfect side for all your bbq meals.
Most anybody from the north east might recall, that friday or saturday night staple...baked beans,
hotdogs, and Boston brown brean, made in a can.
It's an old new england tradition, every bit as good as corn bread.
As BBQ gained in popularity in the north east, it always puzzled me why our traditional boston brown bread didnt make it to the table?
We have been working on that to bring the best of both to our bbq, and think we have the recipe down. We're now serving a "marbled" cornbread mixed with traditional molasses based boston brown bread, and we're happy enough with it to share with ya'all.
