🍦☕ I NEED YOUR OPINION, SWEET SHACK FAMILY! ☕🍦

I’ve been doing a lot of thinking about the future of The Sweet Shack Bakery, and I have an idea that I would really love YOUR feedback on. 💕

What would you think about The Sweet Shack becoming a place where you could stop in for...

☕ Fresh coffee
🍦 Ice cream
🧁 Cupcakes, cookies, pastries & other goodies from The Sweet Shack
🎂 Special-order cakes and desserts

My idea would be to bring someone into the shop who would take over the ice cream side of things and introduce coffee, while I would continue keeping the bakery case stocked with Sweet Shack treats AND continue taking special orders. ❤️

So The Sweet Shack isn't going away! I would still be baking — we'd just be adding something new to the shop.

I can picture people stopping in for a morning coffee and pastry, families coming in for ice cream, friends meeting for a little treat, and of course still being able to order your favorite Sweet Shack cakes and desserts. 🥰

But before I seriously consider moving forward, I need to know what YOU think.

Would you support something like this?

Hi, Sweet Shack family! ❤️

I wanted to take a moment to give everyone a little update and say thank you for all of your kindness, prayers, and encouragement over the past several months.

As many of you know, I've been dealing with some ongoing health issues. It's been a long journey with lots of doctor's appointments, tests, and trying to find answers. Today I have an appointment with a stomach specialist in Concord to find the best treatment. Some days are better than others, but I'm staying hopeful and taking things one day at a time.

Even though my health has slowed me down, one thing that has kept my spirits up is creating. During this journey, I've poured my heart into writing children's books and putting together my Bundt cake cookbook. Those projects have truly been a blessing for me.

I wanted to ask all of you something...

Would anyone be interested in a Sweet Shack Bakery book signing?

I'd love to meet everyone, sign books, chat about baking, and simply spend time with the amazing people who have supported me through the years.

Anyone need something sweet this week?

I'm trying to go in every morning and get things done, but by lunch I'm exhausted.

Still don't have answers but the doctor I saw yesterday listened more than any so far. She ordered more labs and scans and I'm scheduled for an EUS next Friday at the hospital.

When I first opened The Sweet Shack Bakery, I never imagined one day I'd become a children's book author.

Every day at the bakery, I get to watch children laugh, families spend time together, and neighbors become friends. Those moments inspired me to write Mimi and the Sweet Shack Bakery: The Missing Cupcake Mystery.

This isn't just a story about a missing cupcake...
It's a story about kindness, teamwork, friendship, and learning not to jump to conclusions.

💜 From the Bottom of My Heart... Thank You. 💜

Today was one of those days that reminded me why I love what I do.

Thank you to everyone who came out and supported our "Anything But a Bowl" Ice Cream Event! Whether you brought a bucket, an air fryer, Santa boots, a toy truck, or just came to enjoy some ice cream and laughter, you made today so much fun.

Running a small business isn't always easy, and lately my health has made the journey even more challenging. Some days I wonder if I have anything left to give. Then days like today happen, and I'm reminded how incredibly blessed I am to have this community behind me.

Because of you, we laughed, made memories, and had a wonderful day together. Your support means so much more than you'll ever know. Every visit, every kind word, every purchase, and every smile helps keep this little dream alive.
