Hi all - I just wanted to introduce myself! I'm a mom of 3 that loves to bake for family and friends. After dreaming of baking for others for multiple years I decided I'm going to be brave and this year is the year! What's up with the name you ask? The word Bakkerij (pronounced BAHK-uh-ray), is Dutch for the word bakery. It's a nod to my Dutch heritage and a little fun fact about me, my maiden name is Bakker. So I guess you could say baking is literally in my blood! 😄 Come along with me on this journey and see what I create in the kitchen, and the best part, sampling all of my delicious creations!
